Analog Rebellion is the one-man music project of Texas-based singer/songwriter Daniel Hunter, a musician whose affinity for stadium rock and lo-fi production aesthetics combine to create an interesting style of music well-suited for the ever-evolving independent scene. Hunter initially debuted his musical endeavors under the moniker PlayRadioPlay! in 2005, but ultimately decided to change the name to Analog Rebellion to better represent the style of music he creates. Hunter was picked up by Island Records, a label that released his debut LP, The Frequency, in 2007, but was dropped from the record company shortly thereafter in 2008. This by no means inhibited Hunter from carrying on with his musical pursuits, however, as he released his second LP in 2010. The album helped solidify Analog Rebellion as a fairly forward-thinking project that fans of noise rock and lo-fi pop rock will undoubtedly find interesting.
