UK producer Zed Bias was a crucial figure in London's birth of 2-step and UK garage, an outgrowth of the jungle and drum & bass scenes popular through the 90s and early 2000s. Bias' work in 2-step and UK garage was also instrumental in influencing sounds of dubstep which would emerge in 2005. While Bias has multiple monikers - including Maddslinky and Phuturistix - that showcase his various musical styles, from bassline to UK funky, he is probably best known for his 2000 hit "Neighborhood."
