Lorn

Midwest-born, Brooklyn-based producer Lorn is a part of the Los Angeles beat scene that has been that has been nurtured by producer Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder label. Lorn creates a noticeably darker, even metal-twinged version of the hip-hop/IDM music beat scene producers are making. He isn't afraid to be loud either, as many of his tracks come with a synth-aggression that recalls Trent Reznor's guitar distortion work with Nine Inch Nails.
