After taking to a vacation to France in the summer of 2001, Beat Assailant fell in love with the city and decided to move there. Leaving his hometown of Atlanta and the US behind may have been the greatest decision Adam Turner [aka Beat Assailant] ever made. Since his move he has orchestrated a successful European hip-hop career where he performs with a live ten-piece band that features a full horn section. He established the impeccable group after fighting hard to release his debut Hard Twelve (2004), where he enlisting France's top jazz musicians and even his old friend Danger Mouse to help him produce the LP. Beat Assailant may not be that well known in America, even though he was instrumental to establishing the jazz rap genre, but he rocks stadium-sized crowds all over Europe.
