Kelly Ravin is a singer-songwriter from Brooks, Maine whose music is inspired by his rural upbringing and life on the road. Since the age of 18 he has based himself in northern Vermont despite travelling extensively throughout the United States on tour. Although Ravin's 2008 debut album, Barbed Wire has been described by critics as being a bit too "safe," it is generally agreed by critics and fans alike that his unique take on American folk music is growing into something more self-assured and interesting with each performance and album that he releases.
