Since 1999 BaliMurphy and its assorted cast of Belgian folk heroes that play interesting acoustic instruments like cajon box drums and cellos have been chanting beautifully dark stories in French about dust and dim lights. Cedric Van Caille leads his group of merry misfits through strangely inspired fado, Irish and burlesque rhythms. The groups' music is not for everyone and is often debated heavily amongst various agents of the foreign music press.
