People in Western Pennsylvania have known for years that Tom Panei is a sensational painter, but only recently have they discovered that he's also a talented musical performer. Panei has taken his lessons of patience from working with pastel mediums and applied it to writing songs. It makes his writing feel conversational, hearkening back to the music you loved listening to while driving across the country with a group of friends. His output of creative work is immense, collectors have placed his visual art all around town (including the entrance sign to the city) and when he isn't playing solo he's performing and making CD's with Mind's I, a rock band he formed with friends.
