Jessi Reed and Jake Houston make up the brooding, acoustic act that is Dark Street Light. Based out of Saint Louis, Missouri, the duo began playing together upon first meeting in 2000, and creates music that is as accessible as it is beautiful. Relying entirely upon Reed's soulful vocals and Houston's sparse guitar picking, Dark Street Light produces minimalist blues songs with a country twang.
