Australian DJ Kid Kenobi has done nearly everything an electronic musician could ever dream of doing: travel the world, play renowned clubs, be voted best DJ by several noteworthy publications, receive awards for advancement of the electronic music genre, et al. While all these things have no doubt been high water marks in Kid Kenobi's career, they've also helped him mature as an artist and grow as an individual. He won his first DJ award in 2001 and in the subsequent years, Kid Kenobi was a force to be reckoned with, creating formidable nightclub-friendly dance tunes and continuing to pick up awards for his talents on the turntables. After a few years, though, the partying began to wear down Kid Kenobi and he soon realized he'd have to change his lifestyle if he wanted to continue creating music. So in 2007, he started going to the gym, he started eating better, he started sleeping more and he started spending more time composing his characteristic style of electronic dance music. The result? An extremely invigorated individual who's still intent on pushing the boundaries of his music and the respective genre.
