After serving as a touring pianist and backing vocalist for a few different indie rock groups, Australian musician Megan Washington decided to strike out on her own as a solo musician in 2008. Crafting an easy-to-like style of indie pop music that's perfect listening material for a sunny day, has made the singer/songwriter a notable fixture of the Australian music scene. A good deal of music Washington creates is performed with little instrumental prowess, but the songstress's heartfelt ambition is blatantly obvious and it helps push her music into interesting and endearing territories.
