Antoine Delprat is a Parisian jazz violinist. Violin isn't a common jazz instrument, but Delprat plays beautifully on his funky version of Wayne Shorter's penned standard "Footsteps." He's frequently joined by saxophone, keyboard, drums and bass when he tours and is billed as The Antoine Delprat Quintet. The group transitions from Latin to traditional jazz rhythms seamlessly and keeps its audiences in constant entertainment because of its assorted repertoire.
