Evangelicals

The Evangelicals are a four-piece band from Norman, Oklahoma that released its debut in 2006 entitled So Gone. Josh Jones, the group's lead singer, likes to sing in a frantic high tenor voice that's typically drenched in reverb. Evangelicals have a very kitsch psychedelic horror film aesthetic and oftentimes in songs there's a lot panning of synthesizer sounds in the stereo-spectrum, to immerse listeners into this weird musical world with various sonic delights.
