Byrds of Paradise is a Brooklyn-based noise rock band that formed in late 2009. The band joins a new generation of post punk outfits coming out of New York's underground music scene, a scene previously revitalized by bands such as The Strokes and The Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Despite the band's association with the lo-fi brand of post punk music, the members of Byrds of Paradise have no reservations in writing music that retains a catchiness that others might typically associate with pop.
