Unwed Sailor

At the core of Unwed Sailor is bassist and songwriter Jonathon Ford, formerly of Roadside Monument. Somewhat of a loose collective, Ford gathers touring musicians from various bands - like Pedro The Lion, Fleet Foxes and Surfjan Stevens - to create instrumental post-rock, tinged with whimsy and indebted to influences as varied as classical Baroque and Native American folk. Forged in Seattle in 1998, Unwed Sailor has since migrated around the country, picking up other influences and members with each move.
