Port O'Brien

By combining elements of indie rock, singer/songwriter and acoustic folk, the California based outfit Port O'Brian has managed to become a critically lauded band with a distinct sound that begs for comparison to other groups like Modest Mouse, Bright Eyes and Nada Surf. Though Cambria Goodwin and Van Pierszalowski write the majority of the band's songs, auxiliary percussion is added by other multi-instrumentalists to give the music a resounding and heart-felt tone.
