The Other Cinderella is a musical production based out of Chicago, put on by the Black Ensemble Theater and Jackie Taylor. The play is a retelling of the classic story of Cinderella with modern soul music and slightly altered characters, like the fairy godmamma from Jamaica and the brothers from the hood.
