The Mama King is a rock band from Finland deeply influenced by classic and grunge rock. Forming out of the ashes of several defunct Helsinki bands, the four-piece sings in English and maintains the standard format of rock and roll popularized by its forefathers. Though the group primarily performs in its home country, it occasionally plays shows in other parts of Europe.
