Dominique Young Unique

Tampa-based rapper Dominique Young Unique has made her name by choosing more up-tempo, electro-house and Baltimore club-style beats to rap over. Tracks like "Show My Ass" and "Blaster" feature her rapping in double-time syncopation to compliment the songs' 4/4 beat structures. After gaining the attention of Yo Majesty producer David Alexander, who offered to collaborate with Unique on her debut mixtape, the young rapper began spreading her swagger across the US.
