Since starting out in 2011, Jules Jomby, better known by his stage name Dinos, has become one of the most prolific rappers in France. He debuted with the mixtape Thumbs Up before participating in the rap battle competition, Rap Contenders. He was signed on to Def Jam France in 2013, through which he released his first EP L'alchimiste. His second EP, 2014's Apparences, was released on Capitol Music France. The release was followed by an absence of almost three years from the public eye. Dinos returned to the scene with 2017's single "Flashé," followed by "Les pleurs du mal" in 2018. His first full-length album Imany was issued in 2018 via Because Music. The 17-track record included songs like "Iceberg Slim," "Beuh et liqueurs," "Spleen," "Rue sans nom," "Helsinki," "Bloody Mary," "Magenta," and more and featured collaborations with the artists Joke and Youssoupha. Despite receiving critical acclaim, Imany failed to sell well. In 2019, Dinos released the single "XNXX-" the lead single from his 2020 release, Taciturne.
