Front man of Deep Dark United, Toronto-based Alex Lukashevsky decided to start focusing on his solo work in 2007. Utilizing very little production and primarily acoustic instruments, Lukashevsky blends organic folk with neoclassical to create quirky, minimalist tunes. The singer/songwriter occasionally tours alone and occasionally brings along other Toronto songstresses as accompaniment.
