And So I Watch You From Afar is an instrumental hard rock band that creates intricately layered, riff-based guitar music. Also known as simply Asiwyfa, the band creates melodic music that often wanders into distortion-heavy rock where melody is not buried in noise as much as noise provides a subtle background to a foreground of guitar melodies. The three-piece outfit formed in 2005 and released its self-titled debut album in 2009 before signing to Richter Collective. The band has since toured extensively through out the world and has released a number of EPs. And So I Watch You From Afar released its sophomore effort Gangs, in 2011.
