A Corpo Morto (A Dead Body) is an Italian play that is comprised of a prologue, five monologues and an epilogue that consider the lives and relationships of five characters in a way that alternates from the mundane to the sublime. The monologues are done by a single actor who dons masks in the tradition of Greek tragedy to demarcate the widely varied lives he assumes over the course of the play.
