Company delves into the lives of upper-middle class New Yorkers and their struggle to find peace with marriage, commitment and love. Centered around Robert, a 35-year-old bachelor, the story unfolds through a series of vignettes showing Robert's relationships with his many coupled friends. Robert defends his decision not to settle down, as he weaves in and out of his complex feelings surrounding marriage. As relevant and engaging today as it was in its 1970 debut, Company reflects contemporary anxieties surrounding love, marriage, divorce and commitment, with the music and lyrics of icon Stephen Sondheim.
