Kendall Street Company started out as as an excuse for friends to get together and jam to some of their favorite tunes. These sessions soon turned into performances at parties and later, at some of the most popular haunts in Charlottesville, VA. Word of mouth helped Louis Smith, Brian Roy, Ryan Wood, Ben Laderberg, Jake Vanaman and Andrew King rake-up a solid fanbase eager to immerse itself in music that transcended genres. With the release of original albums and EPs, Kendall Street Company has emerged as one of Virginia's breakthrough artists. The band scored a spot on Lockn' Festival's lineup in 2017, as a reward for winning the Rockn' To Lockn' competition. Its 2019 release, Lunar Dude, is a testament of the band's versatility and was met with positive reviews.
