Tione Jayden Merrittm, aka Lil Tjay, raps about many things, sometimes about the sad things in life, his past and even about the Bronx, the place where he grew up. The first steps of his journey began at an online music sharing platform where he would post his songs. "Resume" and "Brothers” are some of his earliest creations, they helped him gaining his huge online fan base and are also responsible for getting him signed by a record label. He made his official debut in 2018 with the EP No Comparison. The commercial success of this EP and positive reviews from critics, propelled Tjay into the league of young and promising rappers, many of which eventually collaborated with him. “Pop Out,” “One Take” and “Hold On” are few of his most popular songs.
