Formed in Marseille, France in 2000 by metal singer Shawter, Dagoba is a four-piece groove metal band that has progressively moved to a more and more Gothic sound. Known for its intense live shows that are more or less a nonstop, swirling mosh pit (always initiated by the lead singer spinning his finger in the air then violently swirling his head), Dagoba has amassed a fan base eager to wreak havoc. Since its formation, Dagoba has landed opening gigs for bands as prominent as Machine Head and Metallica.
