Dark Illusion

Stockholm, Sweden's Dark Illusion plays a metal-tinged version of hard rock with fantasy and mythological lyrics. The band members met in high school in the early '80s and despite a couple of hiatuses, the group has existed in some form ever since. Besides the traditional genre elements such as double bass drum patterns, power-balladry and arena rock solos, Dark Illusion's lyrical content is often hilariously over-the-top in its tales of heroes, quests and defeating evil.
