Hailing from San Francisco, Andre Nickatina has been rapping about the embittered life of street hustlers ever since his debut album, The New Jim Jones, dropped in 1993. Though Nickatina doesn't glorify the lifestyle of gangsters and drug dealers, he does find common ground so nearly every listeners can find a way to relate to the characters in his rhymes who live in the underbelly of society. Well respected for his unique rhyming style, as well as for his unmistakable voice, Nickatina has grown into a local legend of sorts in the San Francisco Bay Area.
