The Miami Symphony Orchestra, or MISO, was founded in 1989 by Maestro Manuel Ochoa and has become Miami's flagship ensemble. With a special focus on mirroring the multi-cultural richness of its home city, MISO prides itself on drawing talented musicians from around the world to join the orchestra, in addition to performing contemporary and classical works by composers of all cultures.
