Royale Union Saint-Gilloise is a football club that is based in Forest, a municipality in Belgium. It was the year 1897 when the club was founded in the municipality of Saint-Gilles, the shift to Forest took place in the 1920s. The club has been a part of the game for more than 100 years, but the period from 1904 to 1935 is still considered as some of the club’s best years. It was during this time that it conquered the Belgian championship title a total of eleven times. Its other achievements include winning the Belgian Second Division title, the Belgian Cup and more. It plays its home games at the Stade Joseph Marien.
