If there are raves, or "dance parties" as they are now called, in the depths of hell, the music emanating from the speakers undoubtedly sounds like the types of tunes London-based electronic project Mordant Music creates. There are defined rump-shaking beats in many of Mordant's tunes, but there are menacing overtones that help provide a sinister quality to many of the tracks. The combination of club friendly, low-end blasts with rather malevolent sounding samples and compositions thrown on top makes for some extremely interesting industrial and ambient influenced music that's worth more than just a passing listen.
