The Orchids

Formed in 1986, Scottish five-piece The Orchids creates delicate indie pop without looking like its even trying. Though the group broke up in 1993, all the founding members decided to reform in 2004. Despite having aged quite a bit and despite the fact that the band looks more like a group of PTA dads than musicians, The Orchids has found moderate success reviving its fervent fan base.
