The Skydiggers

The roots rock band The Skydiggers formed in 1987 in the midst of Canada's singer/songwriter revival movement led by the Cowboy Junkies. Though there have been lineup changes since its inception, the band has not once taken a hiatus, but has continued to release albums and tour nonstop. Though the group is only known in certain circles of the US and Europe, it is highly respected in its native Canada and continues to sell out shows throughout the country, winning over audiences with its folksy country rock.
