Known for his grandiose operatic compositions and renowned instrumental works, the Baroque composer Tomaso Giovanni Albinoni was born on 8th June 1671 to a wealthy paper merchant in Venice. He is known to have composed many solo cantatas, at least 48 operas, sonatas, concertos, and sinfonias for various instruments many of which received widespread popularity after its publication. His works inspired many popular composers including Johann Sebastian Bach. Adagio in G minor a popular work of the baroque era was contributed by Albinoni. The melodic charm in his compositions gained him the position the of most popular composer for over a decade from the early 1720s.
