Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, better known as YoungBoy Never Broke Again, is an American rapper. Raised by his maternal grandmother, the Baton Rouge, LA native began writing verses while in juvenile detention. After releasing a slew of mixtapes including Life Before Fame, Mind of Menace and Before I Go, he made his major-label debut in 2018 with the album Until Death Call My Name. He returned later in the year with a series of EPs titled 4Respect, 4Freedon, 4Loyalty and 4WhatImportant. Some of his most popular songs include "Bandit," "Make No Sense," "JUMP," "No Smoke," "Slime Belief" and "I Am Who They Say I Am."
