Chaka Khan

With a career spanning over 30 years and 22 Grammy nominations, 10 of which were won, Chaka Khan is quite deservedly a force to be reckoned with in the world of R&B, funk and soul. Khan began her career as the lead singer for the band Rufus in 1973, but left the group in the late-70's to pursue a solo career that would bring her worldwide fame and recognition.
