Chicago-based Na'el Shehade and Via Rose - of the dance and R&B duo DRAMA - were exposed to musical influence at a young age. While Via - the daughter of reggae artists - began making original music at 14, Na'el started out as a DJ even before he became a teenager. The duo met via a mutual friend and decided to express themselves freely through their collaborations. DRAMA's bewitching sound is an amalgamation of music that stems from the profound difference in the upbringings of both its members. Since its formation, the group continues to tour extensively and has released albums like Gallows and Lies After Love.
