The Vandelles

New York-based garage rock band The Vandelles is an outfit that prides itself on an everyman approach to songwriting. The members of the group aren't, necessarily, the most skilled instrumentalists, but in the band's surf rock-inspired music calls for simplistic arrangements that is compensated with unheeded passion. The Vandelles characteristic style of fuzzy, lo-fi pop was perfectly encapsulated in its eponymously titled 2010 EP--a studio effort that managed to establish the quartet as a go-to act for fans of vintage sounding, modern garage rock.
