Absynthe Minded

What originally began as the solo project of Belgian musician Bert Ostyn, Absynthe Minded slowly absorbed more and more members until it evolved into a five-piece band. Initially formed in 1999, the group has consistently produced acoustic guitar-driven indie rock starting with its 2004 LP Acquired Taste, but over the years and with the addition of new members, the group has managed to add elements of baroque pop and jazz ballads into its sonic mix. Though Absynthe Minded sings entirely in English, the band has build solid followings in Belgium, France and other French-speaking countries with records such as 2012's As It Ever Was.
