W.A.S.P.

As you rack your brain for the meaning of the band's acronymic name, if "We Are Sexual Perverts" (as defined by the band themselves on their debut record) crossed your mind, then you'll probably have no problem getting into W.A.S.P.'s special brand of shock rock. Coming out of L.A. in 1982, W.A.S.P. definitely hit the music scene with an agenda. Despite the fact that their group formed almost 30 years ago, W.A.S.P. continues to rock their fans while many of their contemporaries have closed up shop.
