The German play Perle Anna tells the story of a housekeeper named Perle Anna who is a slightly eccentric character with a love of keeping a tidy house and an even stronger love for vodka. Hilarity ensues when Anna's father falls sick and she goes to visit him. Not knowing how to exist outside of her domestic-upkeep life, Anna runs into many unsavory folks along her journey who are able to beguile her and try to prevent her from her goal of reaching her sickly father.
