Lily Somerville and Megan Markwick first met at university. Their shared love for music - which formed the basis of their friendship - carried well into the years post graduation and evolved into a collaboration known as IDER. Although one might describe IDER's sound as electronic pop, the members themselves believe that their music doesn't conform to one particular genre. Fresh in the music industry, the duo's mellifluous vocals along with the brooding lyrics helped catch the eye of the entire nation. The relatable content of songs like "Does She Even Know" helped IDER land a spot at prominent events like SXSW.
