Established in 1884, Tranmere Rovers F.C. is an English football club from Birkenhead, Merseyside that competes in the EFL League One. It is one of the charter members of the Third Division North and has played its home games at Prenton Park since 1912. Also known as “The Rovers”, its trophy haul includes Football League Third Division North, Lancashire Combination, EFL Trophy and Welsh Cup titles. Ian Muir, John Aldridge and Pat Nevin are a few of the club’s reputed former players who are now inducted in its Hall of Fame.
