The second oldest football team in the world hails from Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and since 1863, the ‘Potters’ as they are affectionately known have played in the West Midlands. Not necessarily known as a powerhouse in English football, the club has never won in the top-flight, however it has won three titles in the Second-Division. A couple of the club’s rivals include West Midland teams, most notably West Bromwich Albion and the Wolfhampton Wanderers.
