Based in the Karşıyaka district of İzmir, Turkey, Karşıyaka Basket is one of the competitors in the Turkish Basketball Super League and FIBA Europe Cup. It was founded in 1966 and since then it has established itself as one of the best teams in the country. It has won the Turkish Super League, Turkish Cup and the President's Cup. The team has also proved its mettle at international competitions like FIBA EuroChallenge. The team practices and plays its home games at the Karşıyaka Arena.
