San Miguel Beermen is one of the best teams in the history of the Philippines’ basketball. The team was formed in 1975 as Royal Tru-Orange and made its debut in the PBA. It went on to dominate the game year after year and has won numerous major competitions. Its list of achievements also includes winning the Grand Slam and Jun Bernardino Trophy. The rich legacy of this team was built and nurtured thanks to the efforts of the many skilled players such as Abet Guidaben, Ramon Fernandez and Danny Ildefonso who have been a part of its roster.
