The basketball team, Rain or Shine Elasto Painters compete in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). It was originally formed in 1996 and played in the Philippine Basketball League until 2006. During this run, it built a commendable track record for itself by winning multiple championships. The same year it made its debut on a new frontier. It purchased the franchise rights of the Shell Turbo Charger and made its entry into the PBA. The team continues to carry on its legacy and has added multiple PBA Championship victories to its credit. Many top-notch players such as Samboy Lim, Junjun Cabatu and Jonathan Uyloan have played for this team.
