Servette FC is a Swiss soccer club based in Geneva that competes in the Swiss Challenge League. The organization's long and rich history dates back to 1890, when it was first founded and began competing in both national and international events. Though Servette's lineage suffered a brief hiccup when its parent company went bankrupt in 2005, the club was back in action a year later as a new member of the Swiss Challenge League. Servette hosts its home matches at the 30,000-capacity Stade de Genève.
