FC Locarno is a football club that was formed in 1906. It competes in the Swiss 2. Liga. and plays its home fixtures at the Stadio del Lido in Locarno. It first achieved promotion to the top tier of Swiss football in 1930-31 and since then has repeated the feat on three more occasions.
