IFK Norrköping plays in the Allsvenskan, which is the top-tier league in Sweden and also a league whose title the club has won numerous times. This in itself, is a testimony to the club’s astounding prowess. It has also added multiple Svenska Cupen and Svenska Supercupen to its credit which further contributes to the club's success. The keystone behind this has always been club’s roster which has been graced by many stalwart players like Gunnar Nordahl, Nils Liedholm and Jan Eriksson. It is based in the city of Norrköping and was founded in 1897. The club holds its home games at the Östgötaporten stadium.
